Taboo game

This document includes 82 cards (divided into 41 pages) to play the well-known Taboo Game. There is an extra page that explains the rules to play it: one student gets a card with a picture and some words under it. S/he has to explain to the rest of their mates the picture of the card without saying the words that it contains.

You can play this in small groups or with the entire class. This is a good way of practicing English speaking skills as well as listening while having fun. The pictures of the cards have to do with very different topics:

• TV series
• Music groups
• Singers
• Actors / actresses
• Athletes
• Famous people of the country: queens, kings, presidents...
• Creators
• Youtubers
• Writers
• Films
